第24章 1-33 ヨシュアの墓

ヨシュアは110歳にて昇天した。

そして、テムナテ・セラに葬られた。

It happened after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Yahweh, died, being one hundred and ten years old.
They buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, on the north of the mountain of Gaash.
これらの事の後、主のしもべ、ヌンの子ヨシュアは百十歳で死んだ、
人々は彼をその嗣業の地のうちのテムナテ・セラに葬った。テムナテ・セラは、エフライムの山地で、ガアシ山の北にある。

その墓があるらしい。
ヨシュアはエジプトの奴隷時代からの人物。
モーセに従いカナンを征圧し各部族に土地を与えた。

クリスチャンでなければヨシュアを知っている人は少ないでしょう。
モーセの影に隠れていますが「the servant of Yahweh」と記される。
ヤコブもノアにも付けられたかったが、モーセとヨシュアには許された。
