People, despite their wealth, do not endure;
they are like the beasts that perish.
This is the fate of those who trust in themselves,
and of their followers, who approve their sayings.
人間は栄華のうちにとどまることはできない。屠られる獣に等しい。
これが自分の力に頼る者の道
自分の口の言葉に満足する者の行く末。
----

神から離れれば、獣だとしている。
新約時代では聖霊抜きでは、獣となる。

獣の中で生きるのは厳しい。

が、信仰で、獣に出会う数は激減するのでしょう。
